THE ORDER OF COMPLIN.

(Matt28:19)
IN the Name of the +Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

(Matt6:9-13)
Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation ;
But deliver us from evil. Amen.

(Lk1:28&Lk1:42)
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee ; blessed art thou
among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus Christ.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the
hour of our death. Amen.
The above are always said secretly : then aloud,
And lead us not into temptation ; But deliver us from evil.

In the Church of Sarum Our Father and Hail Mary are not begun
aloud by the Priest at any service except at Mass, when they are
wholly said or sung aloud. And afterwards the Priest fays aloud,
And lead us not. Choir. But deliver.

The Apostles Creed is said in the same way.
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth :
And in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, Born of the Virgin Mary,
Suffered under Pontius Pilate, Was crucified, dead, and buried,
He descended into hell; The third day He rose again from the dead,
He ascended into heaven, And sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit; The holy Catholic Church;
The Communion of Saints; The Forgiveness of sins;
The Resurrection of the body, And the life everlasting. Amen.
Secretly: then aloud,
The Refurreion of the body, And the life everlasting. Amen.
Alleluia is not said from the r Vespers O/LXX. till the Mass on Easter

Eve, which is deferred till after None.

AT COMPLIN.

Our Father and Hail Mary having been said, the Priest begins,

P. Turn us then, O God our Saviour.
R. And let Thine anger cease from us.
P. O God, make speed and save me.
R. O Lord, make haste to help me.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit;
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be: world without end. Amen,

Alleluia or Praise to Thee, O Lord, we sing, of glory the eternal King, according to the difference of the seasons.
