On Whitsun-day Complin: Antiphon: Alleluia (iv.) as above.

Chapter. Thou, O Lord.

On this and the three following days this Sequence is said for the Hymn.

SEQUENCE.

NOW let the Lord's wwww Choir proclaim the Name of the Highest,

Messiah, Saviour, Emmanuel, Sabaoth, Adonai,

The Only-begotten, the Way, the Life, the Hand, of One Substance, He is the Beginning, the First-born, He too is the Wisdom, the Virtue,

Alpha, the Head He is called, the Ending and the Omega also,

Fountain and Sources of Good, the Paraclete and Mediator,

He is the Lamb and the Sheep, the Calf, Serpent, Ram, Worm and Lion,

Mouth, Word and Splendour and Sun, The Glory, the Light and Image,

He is the Angel, the Bridgroom, the Shepherd, the Priest and the Prophet.

He is Immortal, Jehovah, and God, and Almighty, Coequal.

O may he save us.

And through all ages,

To Him be glory. Amen.

P. Keep us.

But on the Other days the Hymn Redeemer is said.

Antiphon. Alleluia, the Spirit. Psalm. Lord, now lettest.
